The GML ALED BSW 250 is a versatile hybrid Beam / Spot / Wash moving head engineered for concert stages, theatrical installations, live touring, and rental fleets. Powered by a high-efficiency 200W white LED engine, it integrates professional optical performance into a compact, lightweight chassis weighing only 13.5 kg for rapid rigging and transport.
Optical System and Beam Control
The precision optical train delivers a continuous linear zoom range from an intense 2.5° parallel beam to a wide 25° spot/wash field. At a throw distance of 10 meters, it achieves 110,000 Lux. Motorized linear focus with 16-bit fine resolution maintains tack-sharp gobo imaging across all projection distances, while the integrated 5° linear frost filter seamlessly transforms the output into a uniform wash wash light.
Color System and Linear CTO Correction
The color system features a dedicated wheel with 11 dichroic color filters plus open, providing split-color capability, bi-directional variable-speed rainbow effects, and random color indexing. For theatrical warm tones and precise broadcast white balance, an independent linear CTO wheel smoothly dials color temperature from 6800K down to 2700K.
Graphic Effects, Animation, and Dual Prisms
Visual texture is produced via dual gobo wheels: 7 indexable (0°–360°), rotating, interchangeable glass gobos with shake effect, alongside a static wheel featuring 7 metal patterns, a continuous wave animation sector, and dual beam reducers. Aerial dynamics are multiplied by dual independent circular prisms — an 8-facet and a 24-facet — featuring bi-directional rotation and variable speed indexing.
Front RGB Aura LED Ring
Surrounding the front output lens is an auxiliary multi-color RGB LED ring with independent DMX control. Equipped with its own dedicated electronic dimmer, strobe channels, color macros, and 17 onboard dynamic chase sequences with speed adjustment, it delivers captivating eye-candy visual presence on stage and camera.
Control, Mechanics, and Road Reliability
Control is handled via DMX512 across 32 or 27 channel profiles. Ultra-smooth Pan (540°) and Tilt (270°) drives feature 16-bit optical encoder feedback for exact positioning accuracy. Selectable LED PWM frequencies up to 25 kHz ensure flicker-free operation under broadcast TV cameras. Touring connections include robust PowerCON in/out and 3-pin XLR sockets.
