Concept and Optical Performance

The GML BLINDER 800 IP is a high-output 4-cell all-weather stage LED blinder rated at IP65, engineered for stadium touring, festival stages, and demanding outdoor production environments. The optical core houses four 200W LED engines delivering 800W of total fixture output. Available in WW, tunable CW+WW, or RGBW configurations, the 15° optical lenses produce a 50° beam angle and 93° field angle.

Thermal Engineering and Housing

A reinforced die-cast aluminum housing provides rugged mechanical protection and efficient passive heat dissipation. The active thermal system features a static waterproof cooling fan with smart speed regulation and integrated temperature safeguarding. Ambient operating temperatures range from -40°C to +45°C with startup reliability from -20°C.

Control and Connectivity

Control architecture supports DMX512 and RDM protocols alongside DMX-line firmware upgrades. Operating channel profiles include 16/20 channels for RGBW, 4/8 channels for WW, and 8/12 channels for WW+CW configurations. User interface incorporates an OLED display. External connections feature weatherproof 3-pin XLR sockets. Dimensions are 403 × 320 × 395 mm with an overall weight of 16 kg.
