High-Performance Optical Engine and Framing System
The GML FT1200 TRACK is an integrated digital tracking follow-spot infrastructure engineered for major arena concert tours, professional theatrical installations, and broadcast studios. The luminaire features a 900W white LED light engine calibrated to 6500K with a rated 20,000-hour service life and maximum electrical consumption of 1200W. A motorized 5° to 50° linear zoom delivers concentrated long-throw projection or wide-angle coverage backed by a hybrid wash frost filter. An integrated CRI > 90 optical filter ensures accurate, true-to-life skin tones for broadcast television capture.
Integrated Hikvision 1080P Optical Sensor and CMY+CTO Palette
The fixture head incorporates a broadcast-grade 2-megapixel Hikvision 1080P HD camera providing ultra-low-light sensitivity down to 0.005 Lux in color and 0.0005 Lux in monochrome (SNR > 52 dB), feeding a live low-latency target image directly to the operator station. Beam shaping is executed via four independent framing shutters capable of ±90° rotation and a high-precision motorized iris with macro functions. Chromatic mixing is driven by a linear CMY + CTO color system, complemented by a 7-position dichroic color wheel with indexing and bi-directional rainbow effects.
Tracking Console Workstation and Long-Range Optical Transport
The system is commanded from an ergonomic ground tracking console featuring dual 15.6-inch capacitive touchscreens (1920 × 1080 resolution, 72% color gamut). Physical operator interfaces comprise 30 mechanical black-shaft command keys, continuous rotary encoders, four 60 mm manual playback faders, and a balanced gimbal handle with Pan 90° (-45° to +45°) and Tilt 60° (-30° to +30°) displacement. Digital video and control data are transmitted across single-mode optical fiber via an LC interface (1310nm/1550nm) spanning up to 25 km at 155 Mbps, alongside a 100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet link. The console includes an internal uninterruptible power supply (UPS) running on AC 110–220V.
