GML JANUS IP All-Weather Dual-Sided LED Moving Head
GML JANUS IP features a dual-sided optical architecture housed in a magnesium alloy enclosure built for outdoor festivals and touring. Face A acts as an intense beam/wash luminaire utilizing 9 × 60W RGBW LEDs with a 4°–32° motorized zoom delivering 8,000 lux @ 15 m (at 4°). Face B is a high-output pixel strobe panel composed of 324 × 0.3W RGB 5050 LEDs and 288 × 2W 3030 Warm White LEDs.
Kinematics and Magnetoelectric Positioning
The luminaire features 540° Pan rotation and continuous 360° infinite Tilt rotation, monitored by 16-bit magnetoelectric encoders for instant position recovery. It supports linear CTO adjustment from 2500K to 8000K, variable strobe from 0 to 20 Hz (pulse and random modes), and 0–100% flicker-free dimming.
Rigging and Touring Hardware
Total power draw is 700W with power and data routed through Seetronic connectors. Controlled via DMX512 and RDM across 16, 33, 42, and 69 channels. The magnesium alloy chassis combines silent air cooling with cold-weather capability down to -20°C.
