Optical Engine and Broadcast Color Fidelity

The GML LED FRESNEL 300 is a full-scale theatrical and broadcast luminaire equipped with a 300W COB LED engine delivering a color rendering index of CRI Ra ≥ 90. The high-contrast aspheric Fresnel optical element produces a characteristically soft-edged field with edge-to-edge uniformity. Manual mechanical zoom adjusts the beam angle from a focused 15° spot to a broad 65° wash. Linear CTC adjustment is complemented by user-selectable PWM frequencies spanning 500 Hz to 25,000 Hz, ensuring zero flicker on high-framerate broadcast sensors.

Copper Liquid Thermal Engineering and Build

The rugged chassis is cast from aluminum alloy and incorporates four accessory slots for rotatable barn doors and color frames. Thermal regulation relies on an advanced copper liquid heat-pipe assembly paired with low-noise fans, guaranteeing silent continuous operation across ambient temperatures from -10°C to +40°C. Enclosure dimensions are 355 × 277 × 576 mm.

Control Interfaces and Dimming Dynamics

The unit supports standard USITT DMX512 and RDM (3 control channels), along with Master/Slave, Auto-run, and Sound-active routines. Four selectable dimming curves enable smooth fades down to zero. The electronic strobe operates from 1 to 25 flashes per second. Power draw is rated at 300W on AC 100–240V 50/60Hz mains.
