Kinematics and Optical Engine
The GML Mantis is a 250W dynamic multi-beam LED effect luminaire designed for spatial beam patterns and mid-air visual movement across concert stages, live venues, and broadcast studios. The mechanical foundation incorporates continuous 360-degree endless Pan rotation (Infinite Pan Movement), eliminating travel stops for fluid rotational sequences.
Emitter Architecture
- High-intensity Amber emitters: 3x 60W Amber LEDs delivering punchy warm beams and vintage halogen blinder emulation.
- Peripheral RGB halo: 36x 3W 3535 3-in-1 LEDs for saturated color wash patterns and pixel chases.
- Center multichip node: 1x 40W 4-in-1 LED engineered for core focal beam accents.
- Intensity modulation: smooth 0–100% linear electronic dimming with high-speed electronic strobe reaching 25 flashes/sec.
Control Protocols and Rigging
Operates via DMX512 across selectable 15, 20, or 26 channel profiles, alongside standalone Auto and Sound-active programs. Measuring 500 × 500 × 230 mm with a net weight of 8 kg, the chassis mounts securely onto truss systems in any orientation.
