Concept and Optical Performance
The GML PATT LIGHT is a stage LED retro blinder designed for concert halls, broadcast shows, live music venues, and rental touring. The dual-engine optical system combines a powerful 300W COB White center light for classic tungsten-style audience blinding with an ambient matrix of 264 × 0.3W SMD5050 RGB LEDs projecting dynamic color backgrounds and animated geometric patterns.
Chassis and Mechanical Build
The enclosure is built from durable steel to withstand rigorous handling in touring rigs while protecting internal optical arrays. Rated at IP20 for indoor installations, it features a heavy-duty mounting yoke compatible with truss clamps and floor stands. Enclosure dimensions are 500 × 500 × 515 mm with a net weight of 21.8 kg.
Network Integration and Control
Advanced control connectivity includes USITT DMX512 and Art-Net Ethernet streaming across multiple personality modes: 4, 7, 15, 22, and 433 channels via DMX, and 7, 15, 22, 433, and 793 channels via Art-Net for pixel-mapped media server playback. Field wiring includes PowerCON In/Out, 3-pin XLR, and RJ45 etherCON connectors. Total power consumption is 450W.
