Vintage Matrix Architecture and Optical Engine

The GML Retro 5 Matrix is a 350W touring-grade linear luminaire pairing warm tungsten-style halogen radiation with multi-zone full-color pixel dynamics. It is designed for concert stage scenic architecture, visual backdrops, perimeter framing, and television broadcast environments.

Dual-Layer LED Array

  • Core Warm COB Modules: 5x 60W Warm White / Amber COB LEDs seated inside deep parabolic retro reflectors, generating rich tungsten blinder punch.
  • Peripheral RGB Pixel Zones: 120x 5050 RGB 3-in-1 LEDs mapped into 20 individually addressable sections for smooth color waves and volumetric back-lighting.
  • Flicker-Free PWM Frequency: up to 10 kHz PWM modulation eliminates flicker across high-speed film and broadcast television cameras.
  • Independent Strobe Shutter: electronic strobe offering customizable pulse, snap, and random strobe macros.

Network Protocols and Chassis

Controlled via DMX512 and Artnet over 5, 19, or 65 channel profiles, with standalone Auto and Sound-active operation. The chassis weighs 6.7 kg and measures 880 × 140 × 190 mm.
