Concept and Optical Capabilities

The GML THUNDER P40 IP is a high-output IP65 all-weather LED wash floodlight and strobe engineered for open-air festivals, stadium stages, and architectural projection. Its optical engine is driven by 40 × 25W RGBW 4-in-1 emitters drawing 800 W rated power.

Key Functional Features

• Optical System and Beam Spread: A fixed 25° optical array delivers concentrated, punchy output and homogeneous color distribution across long throw distances.
• Zonal Control and Color Dynamics: Optional 4-segment independent control, a two-way dynamic rainbow macro with speed adjustment, Color Flow transitions, and 0–100% linear dimming.
• Strobe and Beam Shaping Options: High-frequency 0.3–20 Hz electronic strobe with optional magnetic diffusion filters, barn doors, and electronic diffusion capabilities.
• All-Weather Integrity and Mechanics: Rugged IP65 die-cast aluminum housing operating between -40°C and +45°C, sealed Seetronic powerCON TRUE1 and 3-pin XLR terminals, DMX512, RDM, and optional 2.4 GHz W-DMX.

Application Scope

A modular internal architecture for expedited field servicing, temperature-controlled cooling radiator, and a solid 14.8 kg chassis make the luminaire dependable for heavy-duty touring and outdoor applications.
