Discharge fixtures lose beam definition as throw distance increases — divergence is a physical limit of incoherent light. A solid-state laser source produces parallel, coherent light with no measurable spread across the working range. The result in the MINI LASER AQUA is a 1.1° beam that measures 350,000 lux at 10m and still holds its geometry at stadium or outdoor festival distances. The module carries a 12,000-hour rated lifespan with no lamp depreciation curve.
The optical path centers on a 128mm HD lens. Linear CMY subtractive mixing covers the full spectral range; a fixed color wheel adds 12 discrete positions. A 17-gobo static wheel shapes the output, while the 8-facet and 24-facet prisms operate independently or in combination with bi-directional rotation. Motorized focus and a separate frost filter round out the system.
IP66 certification means the housing handles direct rain and dust ingress without auxiliary weatherproofing, across an operating window of −20°C to +45°C. Total draw at full output is 212W — a figure that underscores how far solid-state laser technology has moved from the watt-per-lux economics of discharge.
