The proTEC Controller is a central control and safety unit for professional pyrotechnic and SFX systems, serving as the primary operator console within the proTEC architecture. It provides full control over all connected devices and ensures the safe operation of the entire system. The controller is designed for use at FOH or other central control points where it is important to have a complete overview of SFX equipment operation. The desktop format provides convenient access to all functions, including system status monitoring, device control, and rapid response in critical situations. Communication between all components is carried out via Ethernet based on the proTEC Safety Protocol. The controller supports the integration of third-party equipment via Stagebox modules with safe load disconnection in accordance with the SIL3 standard. The system provides two levels of emergency response: Emergency Halt for a safe stop and Emergency Stop for a complete system shutdown with restart. The controller supports DMX, ArtNet, and sACN, and features a built-in node function and a web interface for remote access and diagnostics. The proTEC Controller is a key element for building a safe, controllable, and scalable SFX infrastructure.
